The Suncoast Diesel SC-68RFE-4 is a Category 4 transmission engineered to address common issues with the 68RFE transmission, offering a robust solution for high-performance diesel applications. This transmission is designed for 2007.5-2018 4WD Dodge 6.7L Cummins trucks and is capable of handling over 950 horsepower. It features a comprehensive upgrade list including a new Suncoast V2 billet drum with a 24% improvement in hydraulic clamping force, a billet input shaft, billet input and overdrive clutch hubs, and a billet flex plate. Key internal upgrades include an upgraded 2C clutch set paired with a 68RFE billet 2C piston, a Suncoast upgraded heavy-duty sprag, and the Suncoast Ducenti valve body designed for enhanced hydraulic control without additional tuning. The transmission also comes equipped with a billet triple disc torque converter featuring a billet stator for improved response and reduced turbine slip. For durability and capacity, it includes a deep Mag-Hytec pan and a Suncoast Zero Cavitation filter kit, which prevents pump cavitation and allows for higher fluid volume. This transmission is compatible with 2007-2018 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 4WD models.
