The Clevite 224-3298 is an engine piston designed for demanding Caterpillar 3400-family diesel engines. Manufactured to OE geometry and alloy standards, it helps maintain correct piston-to-liner clearance, ring sealing, and heat control under high combustion loads. This piston is supplied without the wrist pin, matching the OE service format for many CAT rebuild procedures. It is a direct interchange for CAT 101-0016.
