Description

Ground on a 108 LSA, this camshaft is specifically designed for naturally aspirated LS engines, including 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.2L, and LS7 configurations. It is capable of being daily driven with a proper tune, though 5.3L applications may experience slight surging at lower RPM ranges compared to larger 5.7L or 6.0L engines. Technical specifications for this camshaft feature a 228/232 duration at .629"/.600" lift. To ensure proper operation and longevity, the installation requires TSP/PAC Dual Valve Springs or better, and a professional tune is mandatory. The camshaft operates effectively within a 2000-6500 RPM range. Optimal performance requires specific supporting hardware. An aftermarket stall converter of 3200+ RPM and upgraded rear gears of 3.23 or higher are required to accommodate the performance profile of this cam. A minimum compression ratio of 9.5:1 is recommended for this setup.
