By removing the factory catalytic converter, this downpipe allows exhaust gases to flow more freely, eliminating back pressure and improving turbocharger spool time.

The Rpm Motorsport 2016-CAMARO-2.0T-CATLESS-DOWNPIPE is engineered to be the largest restriction in your 2.0T LTG Camaro's exhaust track. By eliminating the factory catalytic converter, this cat-delete or test pipe allows for freer exhaust flow, reducing back pressure and improving turbocharger spool time. This results in more torque at lower RPMs and helps flush heat from the cylinder head, reducing the likelihood of knock, detonation, and wear during extreme use. Constructed with a full 3″ mandrel bent tube (without pinched areas) and precision milled 1/2″ flanges for durability and a perfect fit, this downpipe also features a lower support bracket. It is ceramic coated to enhance thermal properties and keep engine bay temperatures down. An ECU tune is recommended for optimal performance gains. If not pairing with an ECM tune, the optional Ecotec O2 Extender is necessary to relocate the O2 sensor and prevent a check engine light and CAT Overtemp Fueling. This product is intended for Off-Road or Track use only, and the buyer assumes responsibility for its end use. Please allow 5-8 business days for shipping as this item is built to order. This downpipe is compatible with the 2016 and 2017 Camaro 2.0T models.
