The RV6 Catted Downpipe is engineered using advanced 3D modeling and CMM systems for precise fitment on 2016-2021 Honda Civic 2.0L Sedan and Coupe models. Designed with maximum flow characteristics in mind, it replaces the restrictive factory exhaust manifold and catalytic converters. The transition from the engine to the tubing is formed from a high-strength, 304 stainless steel precision casting, ensuring a durable product with optimized, turbulence-free flow. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, this downpipe features a 2.5-inch tubing diameter and a 304 stainless steel flange. The unit incorporates a 300-cell high-temperature catalytic converter designed to facilitate exhaust gas flow while meeting emissions standards. RV6 offers a 24-month warranty on the castings and welding. Processing for optional ceramic coating adds an additional 7 to 14 business days. Installation includes necessary hardware such as M10-1.25 studs, flanged lock nuts, a flange bolt, and a Honda gasket. A wire harness is also provided. The manufacturer notes that Honda's integrated exhaust manifold design can create significant restrictions, choking out a good amount of the K-Series engine's power potential. This downpipe addresses those limitations.
