Catted Downpipe

The 27WON 80mm Catted Performance Downpipe is engineered to be a simple bolt-on solution for enhancing the performance of your 1.5L turbo 11th Gen Civic or 5th Gen Integra. By upgrading to a larger, more free-flowing component, you can effectively reduce exhaust back-pressure, leading to quicker turbo spool and noticeable horsepower gains. The downpipe is constructed from T304 stainless steel, featuring CAD-designed bellmouth openings and TIG-welded seams for maximum durability and a trouble-free installation. Key features include investment-cast T304 stainless steel flanges on both the inlet and outlet, which allow for precise shaping and smooth, large openings to facilitate rapid exhaust gas escape. This contributes to increased turbocharger efficiency and improved throttle response. The downpipe incorporates a high-flow, 200-cell metallic foil catalytic converter, which aids in reducing unwanted odors and cleaning exhaust emissions. To ensure proper installation and prevent premature failure, this downpipe includes provisions to reuse OEM heat shields and comes with a new pair of stainless steel brackets to support its weight, mirroring the factory setup. Installation is estimated to take 2 hours with a difficulty rating of 4/5. A Check Engine Light (CEL) may be illuminated, and the use of an O2 sensor spacer or a tune may be required to mitigate this. It is compatible with the optional factory engine block heater.
