The Mishimoto Catted Downpipe is a direct-fit upgrade designed for the 2015+ Subaru WRX. It features smoother bends and a larger piping diameter than the factory pipe, resulting in increased horsepower and torque.

The Mishimoto Catted Downpipe is engineered as a direct-fit replacement for the restrictive factory pipe in the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX. Constructed from a one-piece, 304 stainless steel design, this downpipe offers uninterrupted exhaust flow with a 3.00-inch inner diameter and a 3.5-inch to 3.0-inch transition at the turbo outlet for smooth gas flow. It includes a 3/8" thick stainless steel flange and an additional wideband oxygen-sensor bung, ideally located for aftermarket sensors. The downpipe mates directly with the stock cat-back exhaust and comes with new studs for the turbine housing and the stock turbo outlet gasket. Mishimoto has demonstrated significant performance gains with this downpipe. Dyno testing shows up to 57 WHP and 52 WTQ with the catted downpipe and a tune, and up to 73 WHP and 64 WTQ when paired with the Mishimoto Performance Air Intake and a tune. These gains are attributed to improved turbo and exhaust flow, leading to a noticeable torque improvement across the entire powerband, especially in the low end. The product is compatible with both CVT and manual transmissions. Installation of this downpipe requires a professional engine tune or calibration.
