The Kooks 3" x 2-1/2" OEM catted stainless X-pipe is engineered as a bolt-in mid-section for the 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 GT and GXP models equipped with LS2 or LS3 6.0L/6.2L engines. It is intended to be paired with Kooks long tube headers upstream and the OEM cat-back exhaust system downstream. Constructed from 304 stainless steel with 16-gauge tubing, this X-pipe is built for durability and resistance to thermal cycling and corrosion. Kooks Headers & Exhaust has a long history of hand-building these systems in Statesville, North Carolina, ensuring quality craftsmanship from experienced fabricators. This X-pipe requires Kooks long tube headers for installation. It is important to note that the standard race cats included are NOT suitable for forced-induction applications. Additionally, this product is not CARB legal and cannot be sold or shipped to California. A tune is required to achieve the maximum performance benefits when installing long tube headers.
