The Rein 11617534237 is a 3-piece crankcase ventilation (CCV) kit engineered for M52TU and M54 engines. This particular version is an upgraded cold climate model, ensuring optimal performance in lower temperatures. It contains the CCV unit, the Vent Pipe (part number 398), and the Connecting Line (part number 535). This kit is intended for vehicles with a production date of 1/2000 or later. This CCV kit is compatible with a range of BMW models including the E46 3 Series (323Ci, 323i, 325Ci, 325i, 325xi, 328Ci, 328i, 330Ci, 330i, 330xi), E39 5 Series (525i, 528i, 530i), E60 5 Series (525i, 530i), E83 X3, E53 X5, and Z3/Z4 models. It is specifically designed for engines produced from 1/2000 onwards. When replacing the CCV system, it is recommended to also inspect and potentially replace the lower return line that connects from the CCV to the dipstick tube, as the plastic connector on this line can be fragile and may break during the CCV replacement procedure. This part is sold separately.
