The AEM CD-5 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Dash Display is engineered for versatility, offering a perfect solution for updating instrument clusters or configuring instrumentation in new vehicle builds. Its full-color, 5-inch diagonal screen boasts an 800x480 resolution and 1000cd/m2 brightness with an anti-glare filter, ensuring clear visibility even in direct sunlight. The display is encased in a robust, lightweight, flow-molded carbon fiber composite housing, making it suitable for open-cockpit use with its IP66 water resistance rating. Simplify your wiring with a single-plug connection that provides power, ground, and CAN data. The CD-5 Carbon Flat Panel Dash can receive channels from over 250 CAN-enabled devices, including 45 AEM devices and 159 non-AEM devices, with DBC CAN files available for more. For more advanced data acquisition, consider the optional 22 Channel CAN Sensor Module, Vehicle Dynamics Module for GPS and motion sensing, or the 8 Channel K-Type EGT CAN Module. The display offers seven programmable pages: a startup page, four main pages, an 'On-Change' page for tracking map switching or lap times, and a dedicated Alarm event page. Seven ultra-bright LEDs along the top can be programmed for RPM and shift light indication, with two additional programmable LEDs also included. The unit accepts channels from 2008-up factory ECUs via an OBDII CAN Adapter Cable (sold separately), or from carbureted and pre-2008 stock ECU-equipped vehicles using a CAN Sensor Module (sold separately). A remote button kit (sold separately) is required for changing pages and clearing memory.
