The JVC KD-R370 is a versatile single-DIN CD receiver designed to enhance your car's audio system. It boasts a built-in MOSFET amplifier that provides 22 watts RMS and 50 watts peak power across four channels, ensuring clear and robust sound. This receiver is compatible with a wide range of media, including CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs, and can play back MP3 and WMA files, offering flexibility for your music collection. For expanded connectivity, the KD-R370 features a front auxiliary input, allowing you to easily connect smartphones or portable music players. It also includes a detachable faceplate with a 12-digit LCD display and red button illumination, which can be adjusted for brightness and dimmed for nighttime driving. The receiver is equipped with a 3-band parametric equalizer with 12 EQ presets and a Digital Track Expander to improve the sound quality of compressed music files. Additional audio features include a 3-position loudness control and a low-pass filter. The unit provides 2-channel preamp outputs with a 2.5-volt rear/subwoofer setting and is compatible with most factory steering wheel audio controls, though an adapter is required. It's important to note that the JVC KD-R370 is not compatible with DRM-protected music purchased from the iTunes Store. Additionally, USB playback is not supported for NTFS formatted devices, and only the first partition can be read. The current supply for USB is a maximum of 0.5A.
