The Kenwood Excelon KDC-X704 CD receiver serves as a robust replacement car stereo or a versatile media hub for your audio system. It provides extensive music playback options, comprehensive connectivity for integrating additional components, and multiple control methods, including Amazon Alexa voice control. The built-in Bluetooth® offers seamless wireless convenience for your smartphone, supporting Pandora® and Spotify® controls. For radio enthusiasts, this receiver includes a built-in HD Radio® tuner and compatibility with satellite radio tuners (sold separately). This unit boasts advanced audio features to tailor your listening experience. It includes a 13-band equalizer with digital time alignment, subwoofer level controls, and both high- and low-pass filters. For digital audio playback, it supports WAV and FLAC files up to 24-bit/96kHz from USB drives. The receiver is powered by a built-in MOSFET amplifier delivering 22 watts RMS and 50 watts peak per channel. Its high-contrast 1.5-line display features variable-color illumination for customization. Connectivity and control are key features of the KDC-X704. It allows for dual Bluetooth phone pairing, enabling quick switching between devices for hands-free calling and audio streaming. The unique Music Mix feature permits up to five phones to stream music, creating a collaborative playlist. Additionally, Kenwood’s free Remote app allows you to control the stereo directly from your iPhone® or Android™ smartphone. It also includes a front-panel auxiliary input and USB port for wired connections. For expandability, it offers 6-channel (5.0-volt) preamp outputs for external amplifiers.
