The Alpine CDE-9843 is a 1-DIN CD receiver designed to upgrade your car's audio system. It boasts a built-in MOSFET amplifier delivering 16 watts RMS and 45 watts peak power per channel, ensuring a crisp and powerful sound output. This unit supports playback of audio CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs, with compatibility for MP3 files burned onto discs. Customization options are available through Alpine's Bass Engine, allowing adjustments to bass center frequency, width, and level, as well as treble center frequency and level. Users can also control the balance between left and right speakers and the fader between front and rear. The receiver features a detachable faceplate with a silver and blue aesthetic, and includes a clock function. It is CEA-2006 compliant, indicating it meets industry standards for amplifier performance. While this unit does not come with a remote control or satellite radio readiness, it offers one set of preamp outputs for connecting external amplifiers.
