The Mobil Centaur XHP 221 is a premium multipurpose grease engineered to provide superior lubrication for rolling element bearings in demanding industrial environments. This grease is specifically formulated for machinery operating under high temperatures and conditions that involve both wetness and heavy loads. Featuring a unique calcium sulfonate thickener system, the Centaur XHP 221 offers excellent resistance to water washout and corrosion, protecting bearings even in challenging wet environments. It also boasts exceptional mechanical stability, resisting softening when subjected to mechanical shear, even when contaminated with process water. This ensures consistent performance and protection. Furthermore, this grease provides high load-carrying capabilities, delivering excellent extreme pressure protection at low to moderate speeds. Its excellent thermal stability prevents oxidation and oil separation at elevated temperatures, contributing to extended bearing life, as confirmed by accelerated bearing life tests.
