The Mobil Centaur XHP 460 Mine Series greases, including the 461 Mine variant, are premium lubricants developed with advanced calcium sulfonate thickener technology and 5% molybdenum disulfide. The calcium sulfonate thickener is a key feature, offering inherent rust protection and robust extreme pressure (EP) properties. Unlike conventional soap-base thickeners, this advanced formulation excels in water-saturated environments, extending re-lubrication intervals and providing enhanced operational longevity. The inherent EP properties maintain stability even in the presence of water, striking a balance between wear protection and corrosion resistance. Specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of off-highway and mining operations, Mobil Centaur XHP 461 Mine and 462 Mine offer exceptional EP performance. Key features include excellent extreme-pressure protection and load-carrying ability for equipment subjected to heavy and shock loading, superior high-temperature oil bleed control, and an advanced polymer additive package that resists water washout.
