The Infinite Auto Werks ambient lighting kit enhances the interior of compatible BMW G2x, G4x, and G8x series vehicles by adding illumination to the center console. This OE-style kit is a plug-and-play solution that integrates with your existing footwell lighting harness, simplifying installation without the need for complex programming for most models. It is available in ABS OE style material or Dry Gloss Carbon Fiber, with additional material options like Alcantara with M Color Stitch Look. The kit offers 11 colors to choose from. For 2-Series models (G42/G87), the included OEM LEDs require activation via a BMW dealer or remote activation using ISTA+ software and an ENET cable. This activation is necessary for the LED drivers to function correctly and match the existing ambient light color and brightness. Remote activation is available for an additional fee. Without this activation, the LEDs will not turn on, though they are not broken. This kit is exclusively for left-hand drive vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission. It is explicitly stated that this product does not work with manual transmissions or right-hand drive vehicles. Fitment covers Pre-LCI and LCI versions of the G20, G21, G22, G26, G42, G87, G80, G81, G82 models, including specific vehicles like the 330i, M340i, 230i, M240i, M2, M3, and M4.
