Description

The OBP Centre Valve Master Cylinder (OBPCB003) is a universal Girling-type unit designed for brake or clutch actuation. Constructed from lightweight aluminum, it is a popular choice for competition cars, kit cars, and classic vehicle applications. This master cylinder features a 19.05mm (0.75-inch) bore size and a 95mm push rod length from the flange face. Key specifications include a vertical mounting flange with 2.25-inch mounting hole spacing, a 5/16 UNF threaded pushrod, a 3/8 UNF outlet port, and a 7/16 UNF inlet port. The innovative center valve design enhances cylinder performance and seal durability, offering improved compatibility with ABS systems by mitigating potential seal damage from ABS pulsing. The pulsing nature of ABS can sometimes lead to seal extrusion. Note that the required mounting bolt kit is sold separately; an M8 30mm Bolt Kit is available.
