The Liqui Moly Cera Tec is a high-tech ceramic wear protection additive that can be mixed with all commercially available oils. It reduces friction and wear by using chemically and thermally resilient ceramic compounds, preventing direct metal-to-metal contact. This increases the service life of transmissions, pumps, and compressors, while its smooth-running effect reduces fuel consumption in gasoline and diesel engines. The additive is self-mixing and one bottle is sufficient for 5 liters of oil volume, providing protection for approximately 25,000 miles.

The Liqui Moly Cera Tec is a high-tech anti-wear additive engineered to provide superior protection for most 4-stroke engines, manual transmissions, and compressors. Its advanced formula utilizes a unique combination of ceramic compounds and chemical anti-wear agents to significantly reduce friction and wear. By preventing direct metal-to-metal contact, Cera Tec helps to increase engine life and improve overall efficiency in both gasoline and diesel engines. It is fully miscible with all commercially available motor oils, ensuring easy integration into your existing maintenance routine. Cera Tec is safe for use with modern emission control systems, including catalytic converters, particulate filters (GPF/DPF), and belt-in-oil systems. Application is straightforward: one full can (300 ml) should be added to 3–5 liters (3.2 to 5.3 U.S. Quarts) of motor oil. The long-term effect of Cera Tec lasts up to 50,000 km (30,000 miles). For best protection, it is recommended to use Cera Tec with every oil change. It's important to note that Cera Tec is not suitable for use with DSG/DCT, automatic transmissions, or wet-clutch differentials.
