Cera Tec Friction Modifier Additive

The Liqui Moly Cera Tec is a high-tech ceramic wear protection additive designed for use in most 4-stroke engines, manual transmissions, and compressors. It utilizes a unique combination of ceramic compounds and chemical anti-wear agents to significantly reduce friction and wear. This advanced formula prevents direct metal-to-metal contact, which is crucial for increasing the service life of lubricated components. The resulting smooth-running effect contributes to reduced fuel consumption in both gasoline and diesel engines. Cera Tec is compatible with all standard motor oils and is safe for use with turbochargers, catalytic converters, and particulate filters (GPF/DPF), including belt-in-oil systems. Application is straightforward: Cera Tec is added directly to the oil and is self-mixing. One 300 ml bottle is sufficient for 3-5 liters of motor oil, providing a long-term effect of up to 50,000 km (30,000 miles). For optimal protection, it is recommended to use Cera Tec with every oil change. However, it is important to note that this product is not suitable for use with DSG/DCT transmissions, automatic transmissions, or wet-clutch differentials.
