The StopTech 105-16080 is a ceramic disc brake pad set engineered for both everyday driving and performance street applications. The ceramic formulation contributes to low dust levels, keeping wheels cleaner, and the pads are 100% scorched for a faster and easier break-in process. Manufactured using the same positive molding process as Original Equipment suppliers, these pads utilize extreme pressure to bond the friction material to the backing plate. This ensures consistent friction material density, leading to even wear characteristics and reliable performance throughout the life of the pad. To combat noise and vibration, a common cause for customer returns, these pads feature mechanically attached shims and precision-cut or shaved backing plates for a virtually noise-free operation. This kit includes all necessary hardware for installation, and the pads are 100% asbestos-free. The product is noted as an OE replacement with a stopping power rating of 3/5 and a noise level of 1/5. It is compatible with specific Honda Civic models from 2012-2015.
