The Centric 105.16240 Posi Quiet Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set is engineered as an ultra-premium OE replacement, offering a balance of performance and value for daily driving and spirited street use. These pads are constructed with a ceramic friction material that ensures stable performance across a broad spectrum of temperatures, complemented by low dust output to keep wheels cleaner. Manufactured using the same positive molding process as Original Equipment suppliers, these pads utilize extreme pressure to bond the friction material to the backing plate, promoting consistent density and even wear throughout their service life. Centric has also implemented a scorching process for all Posi Quiet pads, which purges impurities and pre-burnishes the pads to significantly accelerate the break-in period. Additionally, each set is 100% shimmed to effectively eliminate noise and vibration, ensuring a quieter and smoother braking experience. The package includes all necessary mounting hardware and pad wear sensors where applicable, with 4 pads included per set. This brake pad set is specifically designed for the rear of select Mazda CX-3 and CX-5 models. It is compatible with the Mazda CX-3 from the 2016-2018 model years, across all trims including Grand Touring, GS, GT, GX, Sport, and Touring. For the Mazda CX-5, it fits the 2013-2015 model years. Please note that this part has been discontinued by Centric, and future returns, warranties, or replacements may be limited.
