The Woodcraft Technologies ceramic wheel bearing kit provides a significant performance advantage for compatible BMW sport bikes. These hybrid bearings utilize ceramic balls, which are over 60% lighter than traditional steel balls. This reduction in rotating mass translates directly to faster acceleration and reduced inertial loads on the drivetrain. Beyond weight savings, the advanced ceramic material offers a coefficient of friction that is, on average, three times lower than steel. Combined with high tolerances for roundness, this results in dramatically lowered vibration levels and a noticeable increase in usable horsepower.
