The Capristo CES3 Programmable Exhaust Remote Kit is designed to integrate with Capristo exhaust valves, enabling precise control over their opening and closing based on monitored exhaust system back pressure. This system aims to optimize engine performance across various driving conditions. The kit offers three distinct control modes: Cruise mode, which delays valve opening for a quieter drive; Sport mode, for a quicker valve response and more aggressive sound; and an Open mode, intended for track use requiring maximum exhaust flow. The opening and closing points for the Cruise and Sport modes are user-programmable within safety limits. Key features include a stylish key fob with programmable buttons, a self-learning function for adding more fobs, and a crucial fail-safe mechanism. In the event of electrical or vacuum failure, the exhaust valves automatically open to prevent potential engine or header damage from excessive heat buildup. The included wiring harness is pre-fitted with connectors for the solenoid valve and controller, simplifying installation by requiring only the connection of power and ground wires. This item, and any similar items, are not CARB approved and therefore not for sale in California.
