The EngineQuest CH318B is a bare cast iron cylinder head engineered for Chrysler 318, 340, and 360 Magnum engines. This head is constructed from high-grade cast iron, featuring a thicker deck for enhanced strength and an improved design that resists cracking. It includes an LA-style intake bolt pattern, making it compatible with specific intake manifolds while retaining Magnum rocker assembly compatibility. Key features of the CH318B include 172cc intake runners and 62cc combustion chambers designed to optimize airflow and efficiency. The ports boast a superior finish, contributing to increased flow, and the water flow has been redesigned for greater thermal conductivity. This bare head is ready for the installation of your chosen valve train components. This cylinder head is designed to fit Chrysler V8 engines from 1967-1989, specifically those with 5.2L and 5.9L displacements. It is suitable for AMC, Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicle manufacturers. Each EQ cylinder head undergoes a 25-point quality check and features a 3-angle valve finish, hardened exhaust seats, and CNC-machined guides and seats. Note that this is a bare cylinder head and does not include valves, springs, retainers, locks, or seals.
