The Wood Performance TW-777 "Knight Prowler" camshaft is a "Hot 555 on Steroids" upgrade for street or touring motorcycles, designed to deliver "Very High torque and horsepower numbers, not matched by any other cams at this time." Engineered by Bob Wood and manufactured by Andrews Products to Wood Performance specifications, these cams utilize a short duration, high-lift design philosophy that has achieved NHRA national records. The TW-777 features a .575 lift with a duration of 244. Intake opens at 22 degrees and closes at 42 degrees, while exhaust opens at 44 degrees and closes at 20 degrees. The intake side has a TDC lift of .200, and the exhaust side has a TDC lift of .187. This aggressive profile is intended for maximum performance and quick acceleration. This camshaft is suitable for Harley-Davidson Twin Cam engines, specifically for 2006 Dyna models and 2007-2017 Twin Cam models (excluding 2017 Touring). It is designed as a "Bolt-in" camshaft and is recommended for built engines with higher compression for optimal performance across a wide RPM range. Reviews suggest it may feel aggressive or fall off power quickly on stock engines. Install kits are available and include necessary components such as S&S EZ pushrods, Fueling tappets, cam plate roller bearings, Koyo Torrington® inner needle bearings, camshaft and crankshaft bolts, hardened washers, copper exhaust gaskets, cam cover, lifter blocks, pushrod tube, and cam plate O-rings.
