The FTP Motorsports charge pipe kit serves as a direct, upgraded aluminum replacement for the stock plastic charge and boost pipes found in BMW's N55-powered F22 and F3X models. The factory plastic components are prone to cracking and failure over time due to heat cycles and stress, leading to boost leaks, check engine lights, and performance degradation. This kit addresses these issues by utilizing durable aluminum construction with smooth bends for unobstructed flow and a larger-than-stock diameter to increase charge-air volume. Featuring 3-ply silicone couplers for a secure seal and including hardware and seals, this kit ensures a boost leak-free connection. It is compatible with both manual and automatic transmission applications, as well as rear-wheel drive and xDrive models. The FTP Motorsports charge pipe kit is designed as a direct OEM replacement, offering enhanced reliability and improved throttle response with reduced turbo lag and increased mid-range power. This product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle as per the California Air Resources Board. The kit is compatible with BMW 2 Series F22/F23 (2014-2021) M235i, M235i xDrive, and M235i-Racing; 3 Series F30/F31/F34 (2012-2019) 335i and 335i xDrive; and 4 Series F32/F33/F36 (2014-2020) 435i and 435i xDrive. It replaces BMW boost pipe #13717602652 and charge-air pipe #13717604033.
