The Mishimoto Charge Pipe Kit is engineered to enhance performance and aesthetics for the 2015+ Subaru WRX models with the FA20DIT engine (chassis code VA). This kit offers a direct fit, replacing the weaker stock plastic charge-pipe with a robust aluminum construction featuring T6063 aluminum tubing. Its one-piece design incorporates a cast aluminum outlet for optimized airflow, providing a smoother transition from the turbocharger to the intercooler. The kit includes a new charge-pipe to intercooler hose, silicone bypass valve hoses, and all necessary clamps. This ensures a complete solution without the need to source additional parts. Mishimoto claims a 10% faster spool-up with this charge-pipe kit, even with stock modifications. The larger diameter of the Mishimoto pipe compared to the stock plastic unit results in maximum airflow and helps reduce high intake temperatures. Tuning is not required for installation. This particular kit is finished in a wrinkle red powder coat for an enhanced engine bay appearance. This charge-pipe is compatible with both the stock top-mount intercooler and the Mishimoto top-mount intercooler. Please note that the red finish charge-pipes were not available until the end of June. The product is backed by Mishimoto's signature Lifetime Warranty.
