Overview

The PRL Motorsports Charge Pipe Upgrade Kit is designed for the 2023+ Honda Civic Type-R FL5. This kit features a larger diameter cold-side for increased airflow and a factory-diameter hot-side outlet to improve turbocharger spool. It utilizes 4-ply silicone couplers for heat reduction, strength, and smooth airflow.

The kit includes a cast aluminum intercooler outlet piece, an aluminum charge pipe powdercoated wrinkle-black with fittings for factory vacuum connections and an auxiliary service port, and three 4-ply silicone couplers.

The PRL Motorsports Charge Pipe Upgrade Kit is engineered to enhance the performance of your 2023+ Honda Civic Type-R FL5. The kit utilizes high-temperature, 4-ply silicone couplers that offer superior heat resistance compared to factory rubber hoses, reducing the risk of heat-related failures experienced during demanding driving. These silicone couplers also provide improved strength, rigidity, and optimal fitment, especially when paired with aftermarket intercoolers or radiators. The custom-molded silicone allows for higher-flowing bends than typically achievable with metal tubing. The charge pipe itself is constructed from aluminum and features a wrinkle-black powdercoat finish. It includes a 1/8" NPT auxiliary service port and fittings to retain factory vacuum connections. The kit comes complete with the cast aluminum intercooler outlet piece, aluminum charge pipe, three 4-ply silicone couplers, six 304 stainless steel lined clamps, and all necessary hardware for installation. Importantly, no ECU calibration is required for installation. While compatible with all factory fitment intercoolers, a PRL Motorsports intercooler upgrade is recommended for optimal fitment and results. This product is not legal for sale or use in California on any emission-controlled motor vehicle.
