The Evolution Racewerks Chargepipe Kit directly replaces your factory intake chargepipe, offering a more robust and higher-flowing solution. Constructed from lightweight 6061 high-grade aluminum, this chargepipe is engineered to withstand higher boost pressures and prevent the cracking issues often experienced with the OEM component. Upgrading your chargepipe can significantly impact throttle response, reduce turbo lag, and enhance overall power potential by optimizing charged intake airflow. The design of this kit prioritizes smooth transitions and minimal obstructions. The upper pipe features a 3.0" diameter to seamlessly connect with the factory throttle body, which is larger than the stock 2.5" pipe, thereby maximizing flow. The MAP sensor flange is precision CNC machined to mimic the factory setup and uses the original o-ring seal for a secure and reliable connection. This chargepipe kit comes with two pre-installed 1/8" NPT threaded bungs, providing convenient options for installing methanol injectors or plumbing a boost gauge, and includes plugs for use when these features are not utilized. Available in three distinct finishes – Mirror Polish, Type III Hard Black Anodizing, or Brushed Aluminum – the chargepipe kit not only enhances performance but also offers aesthetic customization. The Type III Hard Black Anodizing provides an additional benefit of increased durability, making the aluminum piping more resistant to damage from accidental drops during installation or maintenance.
