The Cherry Bomb 87048CB Glasspack Muffler is an original high-performance exhaust component, first introduced in 1968, known for delivering the legendary deep and mellow Cherry Bomb sound. Constructed from 100 percent welded aluminized steel, this muffler ensures durability and corrosion resistance. It measures 21.4375 inches in overall length, with a 14-inch body length and a 3.5-inch body diameter. The inlet and outlet both feature a 2-inch connection size, making it a versatile option for many custom and traditional hot rod applications. While designed as a universal fit, specific header styles may also be compatible. Originally designed for the hot rods and muscle cars of the 1960s and 70s, this muffler maintains a loyal enthusiast following. Its retro design and classic rumble are perfect for custom builds and traditional restorations.
