The Keith Black KB144-020 piston set is a hypereutectic piston designed for high-performance applications including marine, drag race, circle track, street, and towing. These pistons feature a low expansion 390 alloy with 16% silicon for tighter piston-to-wall running clearance. The set includes fully machined head and valve reliefs, triple spiral lock rings, CNC machined pin bores, accumulator grooves, machined-in oil returns, diamond finished skirts, and mini grooves to reduce scuffing.

The pistons have a dome volume of 0.5cc and a bore size of 3.756 inches. They are compatible with SB Chevy 305 engines with a crankshaft stroke of 3.480 inches and a rod length of 5.700 inches. The compression height is 1.561 inches, and the set comes with wrist pins and spiral locks. Piston rings are not included but are available separately.

Compression ratios vary based on cylinder head volume: 11.3:1 with 55cc heads, 10.8:1 with 58cc heads, 10.0:1 with 64cc heads, and 8.7:1 with 76cc heads. The advertised piston weight is 509 grams, and the wrist pin weight is 145 grams.
