The KB Performance Pistons KB186.020 is a set of 8 hypereutectic aluminum pistons designed for performance applications. These pistons feature a dish-style head with a D-shaped cup and have a 3.756 in. bore. They are constructed from 390 aluminum alloy and heat-treated to T6 standards, making them 30 percent stronger than untreated hypereutectics.

These pistons are precision-machined with CNC-machined crowns, a high upper compression-ring location, gas-accumulator grooves, drilled oil returns, and spiral-lock retainer grooves. They also incorporate a lightweight, rigid-rib skirt design to stabilize the piston in the bore, contributing to improved oil control, reduced blow-by, and increased ring life. The KB186.020 pistons include press-fit or floating wrist pins.
