Overview

SRP Professional pistons are advanced lightweight FSR forgings offering superior strength and are up to 20% lighter than traditional equivalent pistons. They are made from high-silicon 4032 aluminum alloy for reduced piston-to-wall clearance and quiet operation. Features include accumulator grooves for improved ring seal and are designed for normally aspirated or moderate forced induction nitrous engine applications. SRP Professional pistons come standard with high-performance skirt coating and low-drag performance piston rings. These pistons are a direct replacement for OEM GM 572 pistons and offer a reliable, high-performance upgrade. They feature CNC machined domes with radiused valve reliefs for optimum flame travel. Pin fitting and double spiro locks (#990-042-CS) are included, along with 990-2930-15-51S wrist pins (150 grams). The CNC machined ring grooves accept 1/16, 1/16, 3/16mm rings (rings sold separately).
