JE Pistons' GM LS Inverted dome Asymmetrical FSR (Forged Side Relief) forging design accommodates popular stroke and rod combinations while eliminating reluctor wheel clearance problems. This asymmetrical design maintains a larger skirt on the major thrust side and a smaller skirt on the minor thrust side, reducing friction. The result is a high-strength, lightweight piston that significantly reduces engine friction. Lightweight and extremely durable, JE pistons are machined for 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 3.0mm rings. Features 12° & 15° Valve Pockets, Accumulator Grooves, Double Pin Oilers, Offset Wrist Pin, Pin #927-2250-15-51C (106g), and Round Wire Locks # 927-073-MW. Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum for high tensile strength in demanding performance applications. Designed for specific engine and racing use, providing optimized durability and performance.
