Description

The Powermaster MasterTorque Starter (MPN 9600) is designed for Small Block Chevy and Big Block Chevy engines. It is compatible with both 153-tooth and 168-tooth flywheels and is recommended for engines with up to 12:1 compression. Key features include a 4.4:1 gear reduction, a machined aluminum adapter block, and an adjustable mounting block that provides clearance for most oil pans and headers. The starter has a black painted finish and a standard rotation. It is advertised to eliminate heat soak and hot start problems.
