CHEVY 383 525HP MID DRESS

This is a Chevy 383 Stroker Mid Dress Engine designed for high-performance applications. It is not a direct OEM replacement, but a crate engine for custom installations in vehicles that can accommodate a Chevrolet small block. This engine boasts 525 HP and 515 TQ. Key components include a Scat 4340 forged crankshaft and H-beam rods, forged pistons with 10.2:1 compression, a hydraulic roller camshaft, and ATK aluminum cylinder heads. It also features a Moroso 7qt oil pan, Melling oil pump, and a Holley strip dominator single plane intake manifold. Recommended components include a Proform 750CFM carburetor, Holley mechanical 110GPH fuel pump, Autolite #3923 spark plugs, and 8mm spark plug wires. Recommended oil is Conventional / Non Synthetic 10W30, with a timing of 34-36 degrees and a spark plug gap of .035”. It requires 91+ octane fuel, a 3500+ stall converter, and 1 ¾ headers. This engine is compatible with OE roller block 4 bolt main 1pc seal Chevrolet Small Block applications from 1996-2000.
