CHEVY 383 ENG 500HP COMP

The ATK HP55C-EFI is a Chevy 383CI crate engine with FITECH EFI, producing 500HP and 505 TQ. It features an OE roller block (4 bolt main, 1pc seal, 1996-2000), 4.040 x 3.750 bore/stroke, 383 displacement, Scat 4340 forged external balance crankshaft, Scat 4340 forged H beam rods with ARP 8740 bolts, forged 10.2:1 compression pistons, Moly rings, hydraulic roller camshaft (237/245 @50 .597in/.597ex 112LSA), double roller timing chain, ATK HP aluminum 72cc/200cc 2.02/1.60 cylinder heads, billet aluminum 1.6 roller rockers, Melling oil pump, internal balance 8” balancer, and an Edelbrock performer RPM air gap intake manifold. It comes with a Pro billet distributor (iron gear) and a Weiand action + long water pump. The EFI system is a Fitech Go EFI 4 600HP (throttle body, wire harness, and hand-held unit included). Fuel pump is not provided. Recommended spark plugs are Autolite #3923 and 8mm spark plug wires.
