The Scat Pro Comp Lightweight 4340 Forged Steel Crankshaft is engineered for Small Block Chevy 350 engines. It is crafted from high-quality 4340 forged steel, a material known for its strength and reliability in demanding applications. This crankshaft features profiled counterweights, designed to reduce overall weight and promote quicker engine RPMs. Further enhancements include aero-wing counterweights, straight shot and chamfered oil holes for improved lubrication, and nitride-hardening with large radii on all journals to ensure superior wear resistance. Lightening holes in all rod throws further contribute to weight reduction. Each crankshaft is CNC-machined to achieve absolute tolerances and symmetry, which simplifies the balancing process and reduces rotating mass. It is designed for engines utilizing a 2-piece rear main seal.
