Scat 4340 forged standard weight crankshafts are heat-treated, stress-relieved, shot-peened, and nitrided for ultimate strength and durability. Intended for high-performance applications in Chevrolet Big Block engines. Features include 4340 Forged Billet Steel, Aero-Wing Counterweights, Large Radius on all Journals, Straight Shot and Chamfered Oil Holes, Nitride Hardened for Superior Wear Resistance, and Bronze Bushings for Timing Chain. Specific dimensions include a 4.000" stroke, 6.385" rod length, 2.750" main journal diameter, and 2.200" rod journal diameter.
