Chevy V8 Crank Trigger Distributor Low-Profile Racing Distributor, Must Be Used With An MSD 6, 7 Or 8-Series Ignition And A Crank Trigger MSD Ignition

The MSD 84697 is a low-profile racing distributor for Chevy V8 engines, designed to fit tight intake systems while maintaining high voltage transfer. It features a large diameter cap, Rynite rotor, and a high dielectric Rynite base to prevent arcing. The distributor has an oversized steel shaft, sealed ball-bearing assembly, and an extra-long sintered bushing for smooth operation. A special oil tract improves lubrication to the distributor and cam gear, and it can be used with O-ring seals for modified blocks. It requires an MSD Crank Trigger and an MSD 6, 7, or 8-series ignition control. It comes with an HEI-style cap and rotor, and a bronze gear for roller cams.
