The Tilton 40000-Series Super Starter (MPN 54-40001) features a powerful 3.0 HP (2.2kW) motor and a 3.75:1 gear reduction drive assembly for high torque and speed, designed to start large displacement, high-compression Chevrolet Small Block and Big Block engines. It includes a heavy-duty solenoid (P/N 54-422HD) capable of handling 16 volts and is precisely machined for durability. This starter is a universal fit for engines with 153-tooth or 168-tooth ring gears.
