The Blue Ox Custom Base Plates are designed for flat towing vehicles behind an RV or motorhome. They offer a custom, vehicle-specific fit that integrates with the vehicle frame, securely bolting into the chassis, and providing a solid attachment point for a Blue Ox towing bar (sold separately). The unique design allows the towing baseplate to flex and absorb shock, minimizing pressure on the vehicle's suspension. Constructed from durable steel, the base plates are designed to be hidden beneath the vehicle body to maintain an OEM look. Most models feature removable twist-lock tabs that can be removed when not towing, making the baseplate practically invisible. The product features a locking linchpin and is backed by a 3-year limited warranty. Drilling may be required depending on the vehicle application.
