This camshaft kit includes LS6-style valve springs, designed as a direct drop-in replacement. While factory retainers, locks, seats, and seals can often be reused, it is crucial to measure pushrod length before installation. For applications involving a DOD (Displacement on Demand) delete or a switch to a different lifter style, pushrod length may need adjustment. Significant performance gains, including up to +67 HP and +26 TQ over a stock 5.3L camshaft with supporting modifications and tuning, are achievable.
