The Texas Speed Chopacabra LT is a performance camshaft engineered to provide a distinct, aggressive exhaust note and increased power for Gen V LT-based engines, including L83, L86, L8B, and LT1 applications. Featuring a 214/228 duration, .582/.582 lift, and 108 LSA, this camshaft is specifically designed to work with factory torque converters, making it a street-friendly upgrade that does not require aftermarket stall converter or rear gear changes. This component requires a DOD/AFM lifter delete and a VVT phaser lockout block to ensure proper piston-to-valve clearance. For 2019 and later L84 and L87 engines, a different VVT limiter block is required than the standard kits provided.
