Chromoly CV Axle Pair

The Insane IS-048 represents the ultimate in high-performance CV axles, specifically engineered for demanding applications. These axles are constructed from robust chromoly steel, subjected to Insane Shafts' proprietary annealing and heat treatment process, followed by cryogenic treatment. This comprehensive treatment enhances strength to meet the demands of today's high-horsepower vehicles. Rated to handle an impressive 1000 wheel horsepower, these axles have been rigorously tested in real-world conditions, both on and off the track, proving their capability under extreme stress. The set includes both Left Hand (LH) and Right Hand (RH) axles, ready for installation. Specifically designed for the 1988-1991 Honda Civic/CRX (EF) chassis when equipped with a K-Series engine swap and a 36mm 5-lug conversion. The application also specifies K-Series for the engine, transmission, and intermediate shaft. All Insane Shafts axles come with removable ABS rings (where applicable) and new spindle nuts to facilitate a complete installation.
