Chromoly Flywheel

The FX 04117ST is a lightweight chromoly flywheel engineered for enhanced performance and durability. Constructed from 4140 Japanese forged chromoly steel, it is noted to be twice as strong as billet steel. This flywheel is CAD designed, CNC machined, and computer balanced to meet the rigorous SFI 1.1 specification and has been tested to withstand up to 12,000 RPM. Its design incorporates features to improve airflow, which aids in better clutch cooling. The FX 04117ST flywheel is compatible with various clutch brands, including Exedy, ACT, Fidanza, Clutchmasters, and other OEM clutch kits. This flywheel weighs 18 lbs and is designed to replace the stock OE dual mass flywheel, though this replacement may result in increased gear noise. A break-in period of 500 miles is recommended after professional installation. The ring gear teeth are milled directly onto the flywheel, ensuring greater durability compared to pressed-on gears often found on aluminum flywheels. This flywheel is specifically designed to fit the following vehicles: 2003 - 2006 Infiniti G35 (3.5L DOHC 6cyl VQ35DE), 2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe Only (3.5L DOHC 6cyl VQ35DE), and 2003 - 2006 Nissan 350Z (3.5L 6cyl VQ35DE, 6-speed).
