Constructed from durable chromoly steel and subjected to a rigorous heat treatment process, this flywheel is built to withstand extreme use. It has been tested to an impressive 18,000 RPM, ensuring longevity and reliability under demanding conditions. This flywheel offers significant advantages including reduced rotational mass for lower weight and improved engine response, allowing for quicker revving and better acceleration. Its high thermal capacity helps dissipate heat effectively, crucial for performance driving. Furthermore, the resurfacable design extends the product's lifespan. However, users should be aware that the reduction in rotational mass may lead to an increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) compared to a stock flywheel. Specifications include a product type of Chromoly Lightweight Flywheel, a weight of 10 lbs, and an SFI 1.1 certification, meeting top performance standards.
