The ACT XACT Streetlite Clutch Flywheel (part number 600355) is engineered to provide noticeably improved engine response and acceleration, with OE to mild gear rattle. This Streetlite model is significantly lighter than the stock flywheel and represents ACT's most durable flywheel offering. Its construction prioritizes strength, lower inertia, and rigidity, making it a preferred choice for both street driving and drag racing applications. Constructed from heat-treated chromoly steel, the flywheel features induction-hardened ring gears for maximum longevity. The one-piece design enhances durability by reducing failure points and ensuring efficient heat transfer from the clutch disc, preventing issues like warped inserts or loose ring gears. It is dynamically computer-balanced for reliable high-RPM performance. The flywheel measures 8.3 inches (212mm) in diameter and weighs 11.3 lbs. It is compatible with Honda S2000 models from 2000 to 2009, including those with the 2.0L F20C1 (1997cc) and 2.2L (2157cc) DOHC engines. ACT flywheels are serviceable and can be resurfaced using a standard flywheel grinder, provided no more than 0.040” (1.02mm) of material is removed and the proper flywheel step is maintained to ensure correct clutch function.
