The Mahle Original Premium Piston Ring Set 41457CP is a chrome-plated ring set designed for specific engine applications. It features a ductile iron top ring with a chrome facing, a cast iron second ring with an iron facing, and a CP-20 oil ring.

These piston rings are pre-lapped for immediate seating, reducing break-in time. The materials and tension are optimized for reduced friction and extended life. Compression rings have a barrel-faced contact area, while intermediate rings have a reverse twist design for better sealing. The CP-20 oil ring assembly includes a 20-degree ear angle for optimal side seal.
