Marine engine with 345 HP and 445 TQ. Features an OE roller block 4 bolt main, 1pc seal (1996-2000), 4.040” x 3.750” bore/stroke for 383CI displacement. Includes Scat Nodular Iron external balance crankshaft, Scat I Beam 5.7” Rods with ARP 8740 Bolts, and Hypereutectic pistons (9.5:1 compression). Uses a Hyd. roller camshaft (210/215 @50 .462in/.470ex 112LSA), double roller timing chain, and Dart vortec cast iron cylinder heads. Has a rear sump 5qt oil pan (not for Chevelles with steering behind crossmember, some Corvettes and 62-67 Chevy II’s) and a Melling STD volume oil pump. Externally balanced. Designed for marine use, not automotive applications.
